Soulcrush (CD)
The Soulcrush CD was released on Halloween, October 31st through DFR in a
special DVD case for the first 1000 copies. Textural guitar sounds for a
bleak and unforgiving world. Multi layered and almost suffocating in feeling
from this ex-member of Vedisni. I've heard a rumor Cordell of Monstrare had
something to do with the artwork.

Long Winters Stare-Before the dawn so goes the shadow of Humanity (CD)CD
The combination of Classical music, Progressive influences, and Doom/Death
Metal, Long Winters' Stare weaves their sound into their own Symphonic Dark
Metal style. Live string passages, Lush keyboard arrangements, and
classically based piano backdrops create a surreal atmosphere, while thick,
plunging guitar work emphasize the power of the Long Winters' Stare sound.
Interacting Brutal Death growls, spoken verse and Operatic lyrics help
create the diverse atmosphere of this CD.
"Before the Dawn, So Go the Shadows of Humanity" is a concept album, based
on the story of "Vlad the Impaler". From his inception as a valiant warrior
in the name of his god, to the brutal betrayal by that god, Vlad spirals
into a mad frenzy of disgust for the "mortal" race around him. Long Winters'
Stare delivers these emotions, and more.
Lockweld- Industrial Requiem (CD)
Lockweld have been sonically tormenting the scene for several years now and
proudly they have allowed DFR to help them on their journey. This duo of
husband and wife create dark power electronics the likes of which only
Merzbow, Aube and Masonna can match. Using such elements as power sanders,
electric saws and other devices of limited destruction, only matched by
tortured vocals and droning analog sounds. Lockweld are one of the more
experimental projects on DFR. Behold the dawning of a new age for DFR and
welcome Lockweld into our clutches.
LS-TTL- (el·es·tee·tee·el) CD
LS-TTL is an experiment in sound for those who care for new and interesting
musical methodology. Combining elements of computer science and studies into
the realms of Tao and Zen, unique elements spring forth from this artists

Monstrare- IsFet (CD)
From the frozen lands of Minnesota comes, this bleak and desolating sounding
creation of haunting occultish sounds. Monstrare travels were few truly dare
mixing soothing and harsh all on a minimal backdrop. Cordell best known for
the ritualistic industrial project Vedisni. Now brings us to our knees with
this assault of the mind and the senses. We warn you with one listen you
will never be the same.
Necrophorus- Gathering Composed Thoughts (CD)
This is one of Peter Andersson of Raison d' etre more experimental side
project. Its a collection of haunting mininal soundscapes and neoclassical
movements from the darkest most private reaches of your soul. This material
is from 1991-96, it will also include some newer unreleased tracks: the
"Yoga" compositions plus "Spiritcatcher" and an alternative version of "Sophysis".Necrophorus
and raison d'ętre are quiet equal in structure but still very different in
sound. Necrophorus takes you to other places and spaces and creates other
images than raison d'ętre.
Veiled Allusions - Rosenkranz (CD)
Minimal dark industrial feelings from Karsten Hamre of Penitent and Arcane
Art. This is like going through a machine of hell. Never has Karsten
explored such textures and sounds before. There is no sunlight or happiness
here my friends.
Proscriptor - The Serpentine Has Risen (CD)
Second CD of Celtic, Middle Eastern Rock, Experimental and Industrial sounds
by this former Cruel Moon / Cold Meat Industries artist. One of the most
unusual CD's ever to come across the DFR desk and we are thrilled to be
